Section 1
John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth: thy word is truth.
Acts 20:32 And now I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to
build you up, and to give you the inheritance among all them that are sanctified.
Rom 6:5-6 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be
also in the likeness of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under law, but under
grace.
2Cor 7:1 Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all
defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Gal 5:24 And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the
lusts thereof.
Eph 3:16-19 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be
strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that ye, being rooted
and grounded in love, may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God.
Col 1:11 strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience
and longsuffering with joy;
1Thess 5:21-23 prove all things; hold fast that which is good;
abstain from every form of evil. And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved entire, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Heb 12:14 Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall
see the Lord:

Rom 7:18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwelleth no good thing: for to will is
present with me, but to do that which is good is not.
Rom 7:23 but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and
bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.
1Thess 5:23 And the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul

1Pet 2:11 Beloved, I beseech you as sojourners and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lust,
